Kelsey is usually a fun character, but multiple times in this story there is an artifical timeline or they rush in to a situation because she's bored. And it always turns out that it was the right thing to do because of coincidence.
'The Princess is bored so we only have 24 hours to plan this mission where we will likely all die' makes Kelsey seem callous and hateful, not fun.
