This series has a slow-reveal pace that, in this book, builds on the momentum from the first book and moves the story along at a decent clip.
This is an example of a book which could have solved some problems faster if the characters actually spoke to each other. 🤷♀️

The first time I read it, it was in audiobook form and the interruptions meant I missed a few things. This time, so much more fit together.
