Okay, DeMarco is a nobody whatever he claims to be.
Apparently he had multiple companies before he cashed out and the book and his forum are something he does to impact others.
No shit Sherlock, sounds like Tai Lopez.
But !
Even Tai Lopez was basically transmitting common sense wrapped in stories for easier digestion.
I understand his average reader isn't that brilliant (otherwise he wouldn't go for a cheesy title) - neither am I but let me explain - one of the VC partners recommended the book a couple of years ago and I enjoyed this person's writings, I do enjoy them still for that matter.
So I gave it a chance and have to say, if you push yourself into digesting 'simple Simon' stories for people with low intellect - you can still get some value from that book.
Some of the 'rules' or 'laws' are simple math we never think about, especially in Eastern Europe we don't think in categories of volumes, prices in man-years and probabilities.
Even if you talk about something else, these disciplines above actually make a lot of sense.

p.s. I was surprised how he burned Kiyosaki and other infogypsies for not living the lives they are selling. Mate, how are you different?..

Still, some of things have to be reread by white-collars if they wanna start living someday (and drop that stupid existence we all have)
