Like book two of LotR; not just a sequel

The Final Empire was one of the best fantasy books I'd read in years, and The Well of Ascension didn't disappoint. This one goes much deeper into politics and philosophy as well, and was overall a really fantastic book.

I don't think I could possibly have fit this into my schedule, as it's quite long, without Audible, but the Michael Kramer narration was, as for the previous book, absolutely top notch. Highly recommend.

Excellent. If you read the first book in the series, this doesn't disappoint. As I said when I finished the first book, this is some of the best fantasy I've ever read.

Pretty solid fantasy. I enjoyed it. But it was LONG. I am positive I wouldn't have finished it in paper form. It took a while to get into the story though to be honest, and it took a while to really get my head around who was who sometimes. If you like a lot of politics though, I'd recommend it.
