I read the illustrated ebook version of this, and the illustrations were as charming as the book. Not hilariously funny, but a nice gentle romp in the countryside, as well as a historical view of what it would have been to take a boat trip on The Thames - completely unrecogniseable from the Britain today, it ought to be said!
