I think the latest crop of SW books just aren't for me. They're not bad or badly written, they're just... un-engaging. I finished and felt nothing for any of the characters.

I think I'm done with Firefly novels. This was the third I've tried and they're all the same. Slow, no real stakes. The writing is solid, this isn't a knock on that. It's a knock on whoever decided to keep these novels set between TV show and movie. Give us post movie adventures.
