I think this is the best book yet!!! Seriously, we spend more time with each character at a time than in Oathbringer, so the narrative flows together so much better. And the twists, turns, revelations, explorations of the magic system... mind blowing! But at the heart of this book, we see the vulnerable parts of the main characters. Shelan, Kalidan, and even Venali are in some pretty dark places, and watching them work through their minds and change and grow, brought tears to my eyes.

But what are you doing? You don't need ME to tell you to read this! You didn't read Oathbringer and were NOT going to read this, so stop wasting your brain on these words and get a head start in this tome!!
