I love Brandon Sanderson and Roshar, but I can't help but think his ambitions for this series have become a little too lofty. There are SO MANY CHARACTERS and they do SO MANY THINGS, that even at 1306 pages, often weeks or months go by between each character's narratives, resulting in a kind of choppy storyline that doesn't feel as immersive as some of his other works.
