I'm honestly so disappointed. I was really looking forward to reading this, but fairly early on I was put off. It's not about the graphic gore, I can handle that with no issues. The writing is terrible and riddled with really shitty stereotypes, and the sexual stuff is so badly written it's like something from the worst side of literotica.

A few who have reviewed it were whining about Maggie putting a lot of her own back story in the book, but it was important to show the reader who she was and is as a person; she also needed to convey how the force worked in the past, and how little the old boys club have allowed positive change in policing.
