Labor to get through. They virtually refuse ever to make their point. 80% of the book is approaching something like a point then saying “but that’s beyond the scope of this essay.”
No thoughts of interest are presented here. If you want to know what Dewey, James, and Pearce thought, read either the writers themselves or some other book. This book was SUCH a waste of time.

Meh. A little self-congratulatory in places, like when one of the little 'lines' the author is proud of get repeated in italics.
A little weak, especially for the grand conclusion of what was trying to be world-building. Maybe just not my cup of tea. I'm not the target audience, after all.
