4 stars

I'd give this YA novel 3.5 stars, so I'm rounding up to 4. I checked it out from the library to listen on a long drive and it was the perfect book for that. With three different story lines (one for each sibling) this felt fast-paced, so there was no risk of getting drowsy as I listened. The main messages are about adoption, what makes a family, and the idea that everyone has their own set of challenges, no matter how perfect their life may appear from the outside.
