Now that I finally have an actual kitchen timer to keep track on I had to go back to the Objective I chapter and read how to actually get started with this again.

One of the things I like about this book is how it's divided into different objectives that you're supposed to get used to one at a time. None of the online tutorials I'd read mentioned this, they all go straight for their subset of recommendations on where you should end up. But starting simply with keeping track of how your pomodoros go, and then building on from there, feels like a very low-pressure way to ease in to the process.
