Spherical Drops reviewed First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie
I don't know when I started reading First Law Trilogy, but it has been awhile. That doesn't mean I did not like. I was captivated from the beginning. The characters are fascinating and make me want to follow them. I enjoy experiencing their development and setbacks.
The universe is well-built with sufficient reminders of how things work, even though it does come across a little repetitive at times. The gradual reveal of magic was tastefully done.
The story could have ended a bit sooner. There was no need for the last character development in my mind. It would have been better served as a beginning to another story.
