I would have given it 4 stars, but the amount of spelling mistakes takes a whole star away. Pls make sure a book dont have errors b4 u publish it, it ruins the reading xperience and its ripping ppl off of their money with lack of quality in the book they bought. But its a gd book. Very predictable, but a lot of things happen and its action filled and I cant wait to read more.
Review of 'Severed Souls: A Richard and Kahlan Novel' on 'Goodreads'

For the first time in all the books in this series I found myself not enjoying this one. The original series with the first 11 books is my favourite of all time and I just speed through them and wish for more everytime Im done with one. Then came the after series with these 4 books. I debated if I should read them or not, as the Sword of Truth had a great ending and I was happy and sastified as it was. But I just love this world so I decided to read them. The first 2 books in this second series of Richard and Kahlan, book 12 and 13, were decent. While they lacked a bit and had a lot of repetition in them and felt a little like he was pushing the story when it should have ended, but I still raced through them and loved them. …

The first 2 books in this second series of Richard and Kahlan, book 12 and 13, were decent. While they lacked a bit and had a lot of repetition in them and felt a little like he was pushing the story when it should have ended, but I still raced through them and loved them.
But this book I just simply cant love to its fullest. Half the book is repetition. The word Occult is being used way too much, to the point where I started skipping every line with it in and finding myself annoyed. Many places he could have easily found other more shorter ways of xplaining something, yet he repeats, writing the same thing only in different words. A lot. It feels ilkes he's simply trying to fill out the pages with as many words as posible. Either because hes grown tired of this story and is running low on ideas, or because he has a deadline he wants to keep, more than creating quality like we know it from the previous books. We are used to perfect detailed clarifications after an event that one of the main characters have missed. This time though, those recaps were either too short in some places, or too long and dreary in others. Near the end of the book it finally starts to catch my attention and I raced to the ending like I always do with his books. Then came the ending. Its great in itself, and makes sense to those of us who understands this world. However it is way too short and lack details and feels a bit like hes skimping over events he would normally have spent longer on. Until near the end of the book I had decided not to read the last book, this one just ruined the world for me. But after reading the ending Im going to finish this series and Im looking forward to the last book. I would overall recommend to everyone having read the first 11 books who havent yet started on these 4, to leave it be. Let this world end after Confessor. Keep your own imagination from there on. 2 stars for the first 3/4 of the book, 3 for the ending.

Sry, but as a HUGE fan of the Twilight series, I just simply wont read this book. Pls leave a gd thing be. This just feels like she wants some free money xploiting the fans. I feel like shes completely ruining the whole love story and universe of the original version by adding new names and flipping it. Its the same with all these new short fan movies thats being made that shes got going on. Just STOP pls its a slap in the face to the characters we all fell in love with.

I get u have a real life and ofc this is priority and its ur story to tell when and if u want, but pls, its been so many years now, and we are dying left and right to the death vaccines. However, over 10 yrs now since we get a conclusion while u write other stuff is starting to really bug me, and im afraid i will change my stars to 1 soon if u continue to treat ur readers with this disregard of our feelings. We can wait, patience is worth it for any great story. But there IS a limit!! It will be a way to show my disaproval of ur current way, not the books itself.
