Somehow managed to make 15:40 of exposition with a closing 00:08 of action into a page turner. This series really goes off the deep end into a dreamlike wonderland, and I'm here for it. One of the most impactful books I've ever read. Each section is dense with valuable insights. I can confidently say this book marks the start of my road to recovery. It may be a long road, but this book gives me courage and a roadmap to undertake the journey.
Through this book I've become more aware of my own reactions and flashbacks. Awareness and journaling makes for a powerful combination. I plan to read this book many more times.
Pete thank you so much for writing this book. You've changed my life.

I really liked this book. It's like a book report of the works of Rene Girard, written by a silicon valley entrepreneur. While a few parts rubbed me the wrong way, it was a fascinating read that really got me to see the world differently. I'm eager to go read the original source.
