Lauren Redniss is an American artist, writer, and teacher.She has been awarded the MacArthur Foundation's "Genius Grant" and is a fellow of think tank New America. Her work has won a PEN/E. O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award, been listed as a finalist for the National Book Award, and adapted into a movie distributed by Amazon Studios.
