T. Ellery Hodges was born in Sacramento, Ca in 1981. He is an Aquarius, but he doesn’t much believe in astrological signs, which is somewhat ironic, as it’s rather Aquarian of him. He moved to Seattle at nineteen and received his Bachelors of Science from the University Of Washington.
In high school and early college, he gravitated toward writing. He then made unsuspecting students who had mistakenly taken creative writing in the same period endure the reading of his short stories. During his twenties to early thirties he: worked at a laboratory performing drug trials, traveled most of Washington State fixing computers for Apple, sold gym memberships, helped manage an international supply chain for a chemical distributor, and worked for a biotech company that developed treatments for cancer.
Much like the rest of his generation, he found himself poorly suited to doing any type of work for long. So, in 2013 he brushed the metaphorical dust off a novel he’d been writing in his head for about six years.
