Volker Kutscher (German pronunciation: [ˈfɔlkɐ ˈkʊtʃɐ] (listen); born December 26, 1962) is a German novelist, best known for his Berlin-based Gereon Rath crime series, which serves as the basis for the Sky thriller series Babylon Berlin.
