And if they have their way, they'll burn the harvest camps to the ground and put every adult in them before a firing squad-- which could destroy any chance America has for a peaceful future.
This is an outstanding dystopian novel. The ethical dilemmas presented are credible and plausible. I see echos of the holocaust in the theme & story line. The tale incorporates insoluble problems, heroic characters, and herculean challenges. Quite simply this is an excellent read, although I did notice one 'hanging chad' which kept the book from a 5 star rating.
