THE KNOWN AS RACISM ALL AROUND.

The construct of race has always been used to gain and keep power, to create dynamics that separate and silence. Racist ideas are woven into the fabric of this country, and the first step to building an antiracist America is acknowl- edging America's racist past and present, This book takes you on that journey, showing how racist ideas started and were spread, and how they can be discredited.

Through a gripping, fast-paced, and energizing narrative, Stamped shines a light on the many insidious forms of racist ideas—and on ways YOU can identify and stamp out racist thoughts, leading to a better future. --front flap

5 stars

I wish this was presented as focusing on anti-Black racism! This book is incredible and invaluable, but I also felt like it was uncomfortable to have the book be framed as a book about racism and anti-racism but only have like two sentences about anti-Native and anti-Muslim/anti-Arab sentiment and policy. And no mention at all of anti-Asian and anti-Latinx racism? Unless I missed something while listening.
