Good but violent Chrime story

I did really enjoy the book, and it was really getting tense at moments, what the Author did extremely well in the story was to lull me into a safe cozy mood, and then spring something awful at me, very effective, but at times a bit uncomfortable. All in all a good exciting story, even though I was hoping more for a police procedural.
