This book is a good way to spend an hour or so in the summer. Al's a funny guy, and his biting cynicism never really falls flat, because it actually seems to be his personality. His rudimentary drawings are perfect for the overall tone; it's not supposed to be the great graphic novel of our time...dude finds silver linings in peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
