Review of 'The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat' on 'Goodreads'

A fascinating listen. I loved the human stories and the sense of how the unique problems of the individuals informs the wider understanding of neural science and human condition. It's a book that makes me belive in religious comunities despite having complete lack of faith in god. More than that, it lets me wonder about the capabilities of the brain and the power of stories and music.

I find it very apt that I first fell in love with Nyman's opera of the same title and didn't know about it's origins until I saw this book pop up in a friends read books.

I only wish there was a similar, more recent book. The cases in this one are all from the previous millenia, I wonder what are the more recent unique cases and what solutions can more modern technologies provide or how they complicate matters if they do.
