I’m sure I bought this for my kid when they were MUCH younger, not realizing at the time that it was a sequel. I read it over the course of 3 or 4 days, but really it was probably in 3 or 4 sessions of 10-15 minutes each. It’s quite short, but would feel long to a kid of 3-5 (my guess is that’s the appropriate age range, probably). I would read the other two in the series if it was conviennent, but probably won’t seek them out.
My grandson says this should be rated 6 out of 5 stars. Almost 7 year old enthusiasm is wonderful. The story is cute, albeit a bit 'hokey'. ;)
