Mostly a straight history of 1979-2019 in episodes across the Muslim middle/near east, focused on the undermining and out-extreming efforts by Saudia Arabia and Iran to be the standard bearer from all Muslims. Civilian cultural experience of each violent spasm through recollections, of journalists and women. A lot of violence.
