It's starting to feel like whatever character development had occurred by the end of the animated series has been cast away so we can have more of the same YA drama that we've already suffered through. Asami is straight up damselled after making a fuss of how she can fend for herself which is quite disappointing. I'm probably expecting more from this than is reasonable tbh.
