I feel guilty. I love Wizenberg, and I started this book in May; I finally finished it today. This is weird, since I tend to finish a book within the same day as starting it. But I just couldn't get into it like [b:A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table|3090282|A Homemade Life Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table|Molly Wizenberg|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347468210s/3090282.jpg|3121382].
It's less about food and more about the restaurant business. I wish she talked more about the food, but I kind of liked the end bits where she recounted her experiences with the different staff at Delancey.
Perhaps I'm too accustomed to fiction and intricate character development, but I found that Wizenberg would have a tiny passage about her marital issues, then abandon it. I realize that life is messy, but there needs to be some sort of closure or acknowledgement.

If you haven't read A Homemade Life yet, I'd suggest reading that one after this. Chronologically it doesn't make the most sense, but I like saving the best for last.
