Review of 'Adventures of a cat-whiskered girl' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Although I did enjoy this book, I didn't have quite as much fun reading it as I did reading the previous two because it lacked some of the drive. In The Neddiad, the driving force was the mysterious turtle. In The Ygyssey it was provided by the disappearance of the ghosts, although that was less consistent than the turtle. I found that in this book Big Audrey's drive was much weaker than either. However, Pinkerton continues to provide hilarious, delightful non-sequitur humor and a tongue-tying mishmash of alliteration and ridiculous words. I may not read this again, but I don't regret the read.
