Pilgrim at Tinker Creek seems to be a precursor for Dillard's later nonfiction spellbinder, For the Time Being. It's a captivating and spiritual questioning of the nature that surrounds us, and the conclusions she has drawn about the mystery of creation. Dillard has a beautiful writing style.
