Review of 'The hanging garden' on 'Goodreads'

A new author for me. Published posthumously, I loved this coming of age story of a young girl and a young boy sent from Greece and England respectively to Australia to be kept safe during WWII. The writing is a bit quirky, and I often felt like there weren't enough commas or something, but once I got used to it, I found it all quite charming.
