3.5 stars. This entertaining short story is based on an actual poem by an actual poet of the same name as in the story. And he indeed had his beloved cat named Jeoffry with him in the madhouse. It reminded me a little too strongly of [b:The Price|17340528|The Price|Neil Gaiman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1360293277l/17340528.SX50.jpg|24076365] - though this short story has a decidedly different tone, and point of view.
