Rereading this book a few years later, aiming for a self-care weekend. What was I thinking, giving this book five stars? It's insipid and while I do remember the story radical changing, I don't see slogging through this first book to get there.
I found this tale interesting and unique. It is not often that I find a heroine acting like a pretty typical male hero; foibles and all. There isn't really a male hero in this tale. Because of the role reversal in the novel, I plan to read one or more novels in this series.
I rather look forward to reading more about virile, adventurous females and mostly passive, sexy males.
