Laura Ingalls Wilder is widely loved as the author of the Little House books that detail her life growing up in woods and on the prairies that were the frontiers of her time. Yet unknown to readers and publishers of the time and even until recently, Laura?s daughter Rose had a substantial hand in crafting those stories for children. I hoped for better. Laura Ingalls Wilder's books and the TV series based on them were a huge part of my childhood and I wanted to learn more about how her daughter helped her to get published. This could have been a pretty good biography in more skillful hands but was a whiny and indulgent rambling rantfest as written.
