Oddly enough, one of the best books I've read lately. The setup, of course, is at best, that of an '80s adventure flick, and, at worst, like a reviewer on Amazon.com wrote, that of "Duck Tales" - a popcorn book that is ZERO about content, and all about its distinctive tone. And, within the genre that it ostensibly tries to portray, this novel is almost flawless.
