Review of 'Absolute Surrender' on 'Goodreads'

A Mary Sue character with a troubled past and a strange future finds a frat house full of muscular, leather-wearing, brooding characters with anger issues and inability to communicate and Mary Sue just seems to fall for the broodiest, angriest and worst at communicating for reasons unknown. Plus insanely possessive and jealous of just about everyone. Which he solves with anger. Oh and they go to the gym a lot.

There is no romance, no sweetness, nothing that makes you like these characters other than the Mary Sue one.

This novel jumps both legs into every trope there is about erotic fantasy novels, but it seems do it in a such tongue-in-cheek way that I can't wait to see what else could happen. Or maybe I am wrong and it is just taking itself way too serious.
