Marriage of convenience book with our uncommunicative hard man Ryker and our heroine, who moves from society into the gaming hall that Ryker owns, and tries to make a life in this new home that she finds herself. I think I enjoyed the first book in the series a little more than this one - the character development of our MCs seemed really slow until the very end when everything happens quick quick quick (I enjoyed the final chapters were my favorite part!) and then boom the book is wrapped up in a heartbeat. I don't mean to complain, I was happy going along with the book the whole time but when everything got ratcheted up to eleven in the third act, it made the earlier parts of the book look a little lugubrious by comparison.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
