I'll have what she's having

I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, but I seem to be reading more books by people talking about aging. Nevertheless, this is Nora Ephron, the writer of When Harry Met Sally (and many other popular classics which I haven't seen), so her collection of wistful memories and caustic observations and everyday complaints (published a couple of years before her passing) is enjoyable and informative, with some tidbits about what it's like to be a writer, what it was like for a woman in journalism and society when she was young, and the Jewish-American experience.
