i loved it. its like getting to understand the mind of lou (a little bit, at least). i enjoyed all his entries, particularly the ones about love (he loved obsessively and dependently, as do i) and about gender, obviously. he wrote so beautifully, i have my phone full of his quotes now.
now, about this edition: first of all, i understand editing lou's diaries was (is) NOT an easy task (even though i don't know a lot about them). i also understand the editing choices explained at the beginning of this edition. that being said, i would've liked to have the dates. not only it's a diary, but the passage of time is particularly important when having thoughts about gender, sex and love, at least imo. also, and this maybe is just my problem, i got a bit lost with the names (the ones that don't appear on the …

still, a beautiful edition. one can see it was made with affection.
