I don't think these books are substantial enough to really cover two plot-lines; this time there's something weird going on at Speedy Marts as well as military werewolves needing rehab. Kitty does not actually go to war during this book which would have been interesting. Cormac was also disappointing, I think I keep reading the series for him but I don't like the new version.
Would have been better as 2 books with a bit more fleshing out. Easy read though.
