A surreal look at the nature of reality that takes a distinctly critical view of 20th psychology. I like the contradictions inherent in the two lead characters: one is a completely average man coping with an impossible affliction, the other a pompous meddler that seems more interested in helping himself than his patient. Heather is a really interesting character that gets short shrift, which might be the point, but I'd probably have enjoyed reading her story more than George's who's by definition bland and passive.
