Read this with my local sci-fi book club. My reaction was "Meeeh". I thought it was pretty formulaic. Payed homage to many previous books with the plot lines and characters, honestly none of the characters resonated with me. A great many gaps in the structure that just kept me from connecting with the story, like rotating airlocks as body structures, people going for days on end without food or water in the dark wearing space suits but the batteries hold up, just a lot of little things. Best part was the portrayal of Elon and SpaceX as KSpace! Get it from the library, don't spend any money on buying a copy.
