This was the first nietzsche's work I read and overall I had great expectations for it.
In general, I don't think the argumentation was as good as I was expecting... he raises a lot of good points but don't go very deep into them.
- i'm not a fan of the extreme criticism of kant and the praise of a social group above other (especially without any consideration of individual's context)
- I liked the parallelism between Christianity and buddhism, although nietzsche doesn't speak about Christianity but more of the church (institution).
- I also liked the way he points out the institution's contradiction.
- I think the way he portraits "sin" like something subjective and related to the norm (even if the norm is wrong) is brilliant, especially for his historical context
- loved how the author points out the relationship church x science
