I'm a Fan

Made it to 50% before ditching.

I really enjoyed the start of this - the narrative voice, the commentary on class, gender, and race. And I love a good obsession story.

But in terms of the situation with the man - it got very repetitive. Very quickly no new ground is covered, and nothing felt like it was coming to a head. That could be intentional to represent the situation, but is not engaging to read for hours. I think I could have handled it in movie form better.

I liked enough, though, to want to read more from Patel in the future.
