Eating—picking a meal, making it, putting it into your facehole—can feel like an insurmountable challenge. We wrote this cookbook to share our coping strategies. It has recipes to make when you've worked a 16-hour day, when you can't stop crying and you don't know why, when you accidentally woke up an Eldritch abomination at the bottom of the ocean. Review of 'The Sad Bastard Cookbook' on 'Goodreads'

When I received this in the mail I wasn't sure what to expect. I was certainly not disappointed though! This cookbook will literally save your life. I have made a couple of recipes so far. Everything is simple and to the point. There is no anxiety or struggle with how to make anything or figure out how to feed yourself with this cookbook. The suggestions for life sustaining food are approached in a fun and creative way.

Now, if you're looking for a step by step guide on how to cook something, this isn't exactly that. This cookbook is literally suggestions on how to make the simplest things so you can remain nourished when you might be struggling with daily life. You won't learn how to make a complicated lasagna here, but instead create a ramen where you don't feel like your soul is dying.
