Review of 'The Informer' on 'Goodreads'

This was a bit of a disappointment for me. I actually had to put the book down and concentrate on other things because I got bored with it. I can't remember the last time I did that. I enjoyed the other two books I read by this author - [b:Tattoo Murder Case|8421469|Tattoo Murder Case|Akimitsu Takagi|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1355140450s/8421469.jpg|400822] and [b:Honeymoon to Nowhere|8419073|Honeymoon to Nowhere (Soho Crime)|Akimitsu Takagi|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1396211706s/8419073.jpg|302264]. However, "The Informer" was rather dull and uninvolving. I never got a feel for the characters and didn't really care about any of them. The plot had plenty of twists and turns, and I did not figure out who did it, which was nice. However, by the time I finished the book, I didn't really care about the resolution of the crime. I hate rating this book so low, but I really don't think it deserves three stars.
