I'm about to praise this book, but first I need to chastise the publisher of this edition: Casemate publishers. The text of this book obviously didn't even receive a cursory glance from an editor. There are a ton of simple mistakes from tense changes, to repeated sentences, to the name of a character constantly switching between Hall and Hill. It's a testament to the underlying quality of the book that it still manages a high rating.
This is essentially an alternate history where the Cold War turned hot, a story of the commander of a tank heavy combat team and his unit in World War III.
