Normal Rules Don't Apply

What a very strange book. A collection of short stories with interconnected threads and recurring characters. Sometimes different versions of the same theme, sometimes the same characters but not. Some of the stories were pleasant, some a bit odd. A couple of them were downright brilliant and possibly deserved further exploring. One or two left me wondering what on earth I'd just read.
