Review of 'The Girl who Saved the King of Sweden' on 'Goodreads'

I tried my best to read this book without comparing it to [b:The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared|13486632|The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared|Jonas Jonasson|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1334848488s/13486632.jpg|10365993] but it is so difficult due to how similar the writing style is. So for the first half of the book I struggled to keep interested. It starts off a bit messy with lots of things happening that you don't really see the point off but once all the plot-lines all come together things settle down and the humour I was expecting started to work.

The King of Sweden was by far the best character followed by Holger one, his scene in the helicopter had me laughing like an idiot.

Glad I stuck with the book as I enjoyed it in the end.
