My Rating: 2.5/5 stars

While not as good as its counter part, the Covenant series, The Return was ok for a first installment in a new spin-off series. I thought it could've been better and I hated how many similarities there were to the original series, more specifically when it came to the romantic stuff. It was like Seth was starting to act like Aiden did when he was falling for Alex except with Josie. It got kind of annoying because I wanted them to have their own little special things instead of reusing stuff that Aiden and Alex did. And so, because they did it just seemed like the book was written like how it would've been if Seth and Alex had been a real item.The book ending was kind of lame. Sweet, but kind of lame.
