I loved Who Fears Death, but I was much less impressed with this pseudo-prequel. The story just feels unrefined and less thought out, with some plot points and character decisions that were too absurd to take seriously. I still look forward to anything else Okorafor wants to add to this universe, but I hope the next one is more like Who Fears Death than this.
